*The Holiday Extravaganza, Oceano—November 17 – December 31**

*Holiday Parade, San Luis Obispo—December 1, 7 p.m.**
Celebrate the 47th annual holiday parade in downtown SLO. This year’s theme is "Out of this World!" and features over 80 decorative floats, marching bands, vehicles, and dancers. *Light Up Downtown Holiday Celebration, Atascadero—December 1, 5:30 p.m.**

*Lighted Boat Parade, Morro Bay—December 2, 6:30 p.m.**

*Santa's Doggie Parade, Avila Beach—December 9, 11 a.m.**
This year's parade will include goodie bags for all participants. To enter your furry friend into the costume contest, be sure to register your dog and check in between 10:30 and 10:45 am. A contest identification number will be given upon registration. The categories include best dog costume, best dog/owner look-alike, best holiday look, funniest costume, and best in show. *Tree Lighting & Snow, Arroyo Grande—December 10, 5 p.m.**
Get into the Holiday Spirit with the City's Tree Lighting and snow Event! Join everyone at Elm Street Park for a FREE celebration that is sure to put a smile on your face. Witness Santa light up the tree at 6 p.m. and enjoy the heaps of snow on offer. This event also features food vendors, a s'more station, horse-drawn wagon rides, photo opportunities with Santa, and much more! *Holiday Magic at the Charles Paddock Zoo—December 16, 10 a.m.**
